Is www.mysqueezebox.com being replaced by www.squeezenetwork.com?

My Music doesn't show on Tidal Plug-In

Your reports actually were very helpful finding what most likely was the
cause for the issues we've seen earlier this week. What I can say is
that we had to replace some systems, and that they didn't play nice
under certain circumstances. Why TIDAL was the case exposing it the most
clearly remains a mystery to me.

That said: the underlying issue isn't fixed yet. We've added some
band-aid to make things work again. But we'll have to find a real
solution over the next days.

Can't LOGIN

I sound like a broken record.

My boom can pull/login in to squeeze.com and see my apps

when i shift to the logitech media server, no apps, error says problem.

when i try to login to squeezebox.com via a web browser...it says.."You tried too many times. Please come back later."

help

Does MYSB.com need an active Email Address as Username

That's fine - as long as you remember your password. You wouldn't be
able to receive a new password, obviously.

Problems with Tidal syncing My Favorites / My Playlists

Hi all,

I've noticed what I believe is a recent problem with the My Favorites / My Playlists in the Tidal plugin. When changing an existing playlist on the Desktop client, the added tracks will not show up on the playlist, only the previous ones that were there before. Same thing with removing tracks from the playlist. Now the interesting part is that the cover for the playlist does update with the cover from the added albums - which means communication is happening but the files within the playlist are not being updated. When adding or removing albums from My Favorites or adding / removing playlists from My Playlists, it also takes some time (I'd say around 15 minutes at least) for the list to update - I assume this will only update when "touching base" again with mysqueezebox.com. However, tracks within the playlists will not update at all. Changing the playlist name updates the name (after some time) but the files within the playlist don't update anymore.

In summary, to test this issue try the following steps:

1. On Tidal Desktop, create a new playlist and add 1 full album to that playlist
2. Go to the Tidal plugin on LMS and (after some time) the new playlist show show up. Check the playlist has all files from both album you added.
3. Now go back to Tidal Desktop and add a few tracks from another album to the playlist you have created before. Also rename the playlist so you will now when it's updated (say add a 2 at the end).
4. Go to the Tidal Plugin on LMS and (after some time), the updated playlist should show up. The cover for the playlist should include the cover for the tracks you added. However, on the track list, they will not show up at all.

Even if adding just one album to the playlist and later on removing some tracks, all the tracks will still show.

This behavior was seen on both one of the latest 7.9.1 versions (30th March I believe) and on the latest 7.9.2 (1 Jun). I've enabled debugging for Squeezenetwork and Tidal plugin. Between 7.9.1 and 7.9.2 I notice 7.9.2 now uses https instead of http. Other than that I see no errors or problems there.

Any light on what the problem may be?

Can't log in from LMS

Not sure. When it comes to Squeezebox, then I pretty much am "Logitech"
:-). And I didn't do anything on the infrastructure side.

Never touch a running system. But if you want to take advantage of some
of the new features like Library Views, Full Text Search, more
customized browse modes etc., then I can certainly recommend using LMS
7.9. It's where most of the development goes, not only in terms of bug
fixes, but new features.

Are you seeing an actual problem, or are you simply asking about the
ping results? Our load-balancers are configured not to respond to pings.

Adding Favorites in MySqueezebox.com

Was doing a little editing and tidying up of my FAVORITEs in MySB, via the web UI (I keep all my radio streams in MySB as they are then available across all devices and all LMS installations).

Deletions and re-orderings showed up immediately on LMS and all devices via FAVORITES>ON MYSQUEEZEBOX>COM .

However, trying to add a new FAVORITE by filling in the TITLE box, copy-pasting the URL from a BBC iPlayer radio stream I'm playing via LMS and hitting ADD is doing nothing. The ADD button colors up and flashes when I hit it, but no new FAVORITE is added to the list.

I haven't edited or added anything to the list for a good while - so I'm probably just forgetting something simple. Any ideas out there?

Pandora problem

All of a sudden, after years of not having any problems with Pandora, this afternoon I'm getting a message that "Pandora is not available in your country". I'm in the USA...

Edit: Seems the problem was short-lived. All back to normal, now...

You don't say what type of player you're using. But unfortunately your
station seems to have switched to https streaming - which current
players don't support. You'll have to install LMS to connect your
devices to in order to proxy the stream.

icons for favorites

Hello -

I have been looking and looking for how to change the icon for favorites inside LMS. I am running Logitech Media Server Version: 7.9.1 -- I have looked in the /var/lib/squeezeboxserver directories etc, and after looking at the "icon=" text, I cannot figure out how to make the change from file favorites.png to another icon ..

Here is the line from favorites.opml I wish to modify - I would like to change the default icon

icon="html/images/favorites.png" text="FM"

Any help appreciated

Good news: one of those affected users happens to be an Orange employee
and got in touch with me. He's trying to figure out what's wrong.

Error Message Searching Tidal Via mysqueezebox.com Remote Control

Hi there,

Long time no see. Thanks for keeping the server up and running smoothly.

When I am using the remote control on mysqueezebox.com, searching Tidal results in the following error message: "Your player is not authorized to use mysqueezebox.com." Since the typing involved is more or less the only reason for me to use the remote control, it would be nice if this could be fixed.

Playing RadioTunes, ClassicalRadio and JazzRadio without LMS?

I ve subscribed to RadioTune, ClassicalRadio & JazzRadio Premium.
The problem is Im unable to play these by using the app and connecting to mysqueezebox.com, I get error messages like "Transport end point not connected" "unable to resolve IP /stream" etc.
The only way I found I could get them to play was to connect to LMS on my Macbook Air, add each URL /opml manually to favourites using the web remote control from LMS. But all this ceases if the laptop is closed or shut down..
All others radio stations play properly so far without having to go through LMS. How do I get Radiotunes to play without LMS?
Would greatly welcome any suggestions

Suddenly no mysqueezebox.com

Let me apologize upfront for posting this twice. I didn't know if it should go in this forum or in the Boom forum.

My Squeezebox Boom is suddenly unconnected and not running. I tried starting from scratch and setting up the network in it. I had no problem hooking up with my wi-fi and getting an IP address from my home network. But then when I tried to connect to the mysqueezebox.com it would just endlessly say "Connecting..." or simply "Cannot connect to mysqueezebox.com".

My home network is running fine on my computer & iPad.

I even reset the router just in case that had anything to do with it. The Boom was again able to get an IP Address from the router, but still couldn't hook up with mysqueezebox.com.

Is there a new problem which we need to be aware of ? Does anybody have any advice ?

Hello,

I have problem with my mysqueezebox.com account. I forgot my password. I tried to reset password but I don't get any reply (no message in spam folder)
Can You help me ? I created new account but It doesn't work. I use Daphile music system with Tidal streaming and I can't hear any music
although I see that Daphile and Tidal are connected to new mysqueezebox account. I think I have to get to my old mysqueezebox account but
I don't remember this password... what to do ?

I must say there shouldn't be any totally broken apps. If there are,
then I should remove them...

Did you change country? Eg. Pandora is not available in EU.

Can not login to Tidal

I am not able to login to Tidal through mysqueezebox.com

Tried to delete and add my account, but nothing helps(Says invalid user or password). User and password is correct. My PC and cellphone works fine.
I am in location Denmark.

Is there a problem at mysqueezebox.com ??
